Bio

Bonnie Goetz is a painter, working primarily in acrylics and drawing based in the Hudson Valley region of New York. Her work is an expressive inquiry into the emotional resonance and vital movements of natural forms, drawing parallels between gestural landscapes and profound human experiences of loss and transformation.

Mrs. Goetz holds a BFA in Painting from SUNY Purchase College and an MFA in Studio Art Teaching from Boston University. She is also the founder of BINAHarts, a therapeutic art program, which supports women affected by trauma. This dual practice deeply informs her visual art, particularly her understanding of art as a vehicle to release unspeakable emotions, vulnerability, and expressive processes.

Currently, her painting practice focuses intently on dried botanical structures, using their fragile elegance as a metaphor for stillness, comfort, vitality, and enduring beauty. Bonnie Goetz's pieces are held in private collections across New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Florida, California, France, and Denmark.
